Different Types of Sitecore CMS Trees

If you have ever wondered how Sitecore CMS manages content, you are not alone. In this blog post, we will discuss the different types of Sitecore CMS trees and how they work.

Sitecore content management systems (CMS) come in many flavors, but all of them use trees to organize information. A tree is simply a hierarchical structure that divides content into categories or nodes. You can think of a tree as a directory of files with each node representing a file. The top-level node is the root node and contains all the other nodes. A tree typically starts out as a flat structure, with content scattered throughout the article, gallery, and blog sections. You can think of a content tree as a virtual folder structure for your Sitecore items. Sites usually contain several content trees, each for a specific purpose.

To make your site tree functional, we need to add some object types and settings to it. First of all, we need to create a Root Content Item. This item will represent the root of our content tree and will contain two subitems: the Sitecore Root Page and the Sitecore Title Page. The Root Content Item will also have an associated Block Item that represents the root page template
