This cut is best for diamonds with inclusions and slight colorings as its larger rectangular table shows off the gem’s original clarity.
Marquise
The Marquise cut was designed to showcase as much of the diamond’s carat weight as possible, with the shape aimed to emphasize the size of the diamond. This is the perfect cut for people with shorter hands, as the length-to-width ratio of the Marquise cut makes the wearer’s hands look bigger and slenderer.
Pear Shaped
Also known as the tear drop cut, the pear shape combines a round cut with the Marquise, maximizing the carat weight while giving a softer, more delicate look to the wearer’s hand. This cut is perfect for diamonds with high brilliance and symmetrical features.
Princess
The Princess cut is arguably one of the most sought-after diamond cuts in the jewelry world because it has an innate ability to maximize a diamond’s brilliance, not to mention allowing the diamond to emit its color from both the center and all its corners.
Radiant
A unique cut that features trimmed corners, the Radiant cut mixes the fine lines of the emerald cut while utilizing the round cut’s way of showcasing a diamond’s brilliance. This cut is best used for smaller diamonds, as it works well as a complement to other diamond cuts.
